SOD or Survived OR DIE

First of all players should know on how every seals works

Stun Seal stuns all monster for 10 Seconds
Freeze Seal Slows all monster for 10 seconds
Quake Seal Damages all monster about 30-40% of it's Life
Staygian Seal Summons Staygian Lord
Guardian Seal Summons Guardian Divine
Rabie Seal Summons King Rabie that gives Score depending on the Round
+5000 points gives 5k score

By all these means you must use the seals wisely for example Rabie has less score at Round 1 than round 2 if you do have a time on reserving it for round 2 then go for it the most effective way in gaining score is to kill monsters as fast as you can never grab freeze and stun seal for it will cost a delay, quake seals are more precious at round 7-8 for it will help you to gain more scores every second is crucial at SOD so it's effective if you also use Magic forces, Murky to Devine will do..

Skill should be at it's best

Tornado lvl 5 for Pikes
Perforation lvl 10 for Archers
Storm Javelin lvl 10 for Atalanta's
Brandish lvl 10, Sword Justice 10(optional) for knights
Divine lightning 10, Chain Lightning 10 for Priestess's
Diastroprism lvl 1, Metoerite 10, Flame wave 10(optional) for Mage's
Spark lvl 10, Spark shield lvl 10 for Mechanicians.

this is only for SOD :) :) :) :)

Diastroprism lvl 1, Metoerite 10, Flame wave 10(optional) for Mage's
Lvl 1 Dia is terrible for sod, higher lvl Dia is better because it gives more range = more mobs hit.
Besides good mages combo their Dia with flame wave and Meteor, therefor low lvl dia is also bad.

I like lvl 5 or 6 Dia most for SoD.

the cooldown lvls for dia are:
1
2
3~5
6~8
9~10

So if you like lvl 6, might aswell get 8 since its same cd, but more range and dmg :D

I tried them both in SoD and there was almost no difference on 1 and 10 Dia. What you lose in range, you gain in speed and damage over time. Unless something has chanced in recent months.

LOL I have a Level 115 Mage Diastroprism sorry to say that I strongly disagree with you....

Diastroprism Damage is base on Level not on wand nor spirit though increasing it will gain additional damage but still it makes you slow.

Diastroprism on Level 1 is much better and Faster since it has no cool down and it's range is enough already,

that's why Mage's has Meteor and Flame wave for additional damage and to hit long range mobs, and in SOD speed and time is your enemy the slower you get the lesser the score.....

then again it depends on your technique and luck...

I was saying 5 or 6 because it has been a while ago since I played the mage and I didn't exactly remembered what lvl it was.

can i ask how can i still get the money even im dead ?

im still remember that i can get the money after im dead in SOD some years ago...

but already forgotten.

When you die right before you leave SoD (for example at the end of round 8) and you do not press town you'll still get the money.
As far as I know there's no way to get your money when you die otherwise.
