After a poll about race (https://forum.subagames.com/showthread.php?t=72840), why not, lets make one about of all jobs, which one we likes the most :p

I like Thief the most, it has awesome all-around skills that work for pretty much any class.
That said, I plan to get up my blademaster and use its saber skills on my thief so I don't have to use any points on the dagger skills.

Doctor, probably. I love support roles

Fencer.
No, Witch Doctor.

...
I need time!

In any case, I'm getting Doctor and Bard to at least 30.
Croakus Pocus and Pet Sounds are really helpful skillsets early on.

Long term: I would like to be a LVL 70 Merchant again, but that's not something I would go for immediately due to the costs associated with levelling the merchant.
Short term: Apparently I am being a personal support for Crow against my will

I'm gonna do two mains again :p works cos they use the same armour and some of the same skills.
Hunter for raiding/eldering/whatever and Dancer for farming/raiding.
Chances are I'll be stuck huntering for most raids though unless aoe is specifically needed like in widow

Reppin' Doc. My fave class and main class are the same answer yo. Doc, always doc, and a side of merc. When I first started though, BM was my fave. Then I started to enjoy healing and res'ing randoms wherever I went, so I stuck with it. While I usually enjoy being either the healer or DPS in mmos, I also enjoy tanking in here because merc tanking just feels different(better) than other games. Maybe it's just the spear.

Yep, I changed mind while making poll, and said to myself "oh well, will edit post then". Then edited the post to add link and saved, and when tried to edit again for the title, I noticed cannot edit post anymore. It seems I cannot edit a post after someone replies, or cannot edit twice. However, the correct question is the one in poll, my apologies for the different one in the post :O

Good to know. Time limit maybe done to avoid the posting user to change or void its content later, leaving enough time room to correct errors after post (that, I missed XD).

But, on the other side, it makes some kind of threads hard to keep, as example the Guild recruitment, when the Guild Master likes to keep the OP updated about roster or anything. It cannot be done. Maybe that rule can be lessen on some subforum, who knows :-)

Well my main decision is between mainly magic (like I used to be) or trying a physical class, that's why I went for a coin~
When I played before, I had wiz, doc, and muse at 70, fencer and dancer at 68 I think, and shaman at 65...
I know I love magic classes on all games but on Domo it's a case of been there, done that, got the babel t-shirt... So that's why I'm considering phys classes instead.

But I'm always the mage....

I can call it Ubernovice!

Anyway, for the MMO history:
in RO there were players that leveled their novice class up to the cap just for the lulz to do that, there were no Supernovice class but it was a trend. Later, developers introduced resurrection classes and the Supernovice class, to recognize that gameplay style.

Back to DOMO: yes even here some players liked make it to the cap, again for the lulz of it, and as far as I know, with alts.

Nothing bad with that! If you feel like level to the cap with commoner, go ahead! :P

The true reason to raise commoner to the highest level is that it's the class that can get the most skill sets from other classes.
So you can make a totally new kind of class from it.

Maybe that's the point it looks like from Ro super novice, but I find the comparison really really fetched.
First, because Super novi can't go over the 1st class skills (so the result was quite limited) and a good lvl 70 commoner is really hard to take down
Second, because there's nothing in DOMO like RO (even if at the old times I though DOMO would be a nice RO 2 instead of the crap Gravity made)....

(kumi is a retired Star Gladiator *i'm already far if you look at me*)

Didn't feel like this was enough to make commoner competitive, because in the end you have one fewer active skill slot than other classes + they didn't release end-game batons (if you even wanted to use those), so one of the passive slots had to be a weapon mastery. Most people I knew just had commoner reserved for level-restricted arena matches.

Actually, the commoner/beggar thing (including the use of batons, the in-game group Citizen's Society and the structure of the guild ranks) is a reference to the beggar's sect in Chinese folklore (Beggars' Sect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beggars%27_Sect)) and their infamous martial arts style "Dog-beating staff technique").

So it would have been entirely reasonable to have an active on batons based on that.
