The first 5 days were all right. Although the subjects were told that they would meet their permission against the end of the research, after the 5th day, the subjects started to question the critics who made the experiment and complain about the conditions. They cut each other's speech and started whispering on the microphones. The researchers evaluated it by using a gas burn. On the 9th day, one of the subjects started to scream. Differences that are muted after being read for 3 hours. The other subjects continued to whisper to the microphones, not reacting at all. An hour later, the subject started screaming. They suggested the separation of other elements, they began to stick to the sight glasses. The screaming sound was interrupted. She was evicted for 3 days. The researchers decided to enter the room on the 14th day to check the microphones. They decided not to take the answer "we don't want to be free anymore."

One of the subjects fell asleep during this time. As soon as he woke up, he died. The soldiers decided that the purpose was for the authorities and that they should be closed and punished with the subjects. The researchers committed suicide after killing the subjects when they came to the department about the subjects. Default Spooky Story Inktober 2019

Peter was driving home late one night when he saw a young lady waiting by a bus stop. He stopped his car and told her that thosel buses were running so late at night that he offered her a ride. The fall night air was getting chilly, so he took off his jacket and gave it to her. Peter found out that the girl's name was Karin and she was on her way home.

After a long drive, they arrived at her home and he dropped her off by the frontdoor. Peter said goodnight and went home by himself.

The next day he remembered that Karin still had his jacket!

He drove back to her house and knocked on the door, when suddenly an old woman appears. So Peter told her about the ride he had given Karin last night. The old woman was looking so confused and stunned.

While her voice was shaking, the old woman told Peter that her daughter has been dead for many years and was buried in a cemetery about a mile away from here. He went back to his car and went to that cemetery....

He did found his jacket, neatly folded on top of a grave.. The name on the Gravestone was Karin Greenfield.

    HI!

I would like to participate in this event, but I also have one other person who is living under the same proof as me (same IP address) who would ALSO love to participate. I hope this doesn't count as an "alternative" accounts. I wouldn't want both of us to work hard on an entry and turns out we both going to disqualify for having the same IP. Or only one of us get to participate..

Default A brief 2nd era historical description of the blueland.

At the end of 1st era, the time where SkillSwitch had ruled and slowly Fusion took over. The people's social interaction would be called chaotically and hatefull. Ofcourse the blueland has a rich culture of persons wanting to stand up for the others and help in taking out mobs they know they can. Slowly these persons grow and can help on the bigger problems. It was in this time that there was a lot of discrimination between red and blue. A new person placed her feet on the blueland. It was Lady Tsunade, as former head of the village of the leaf she had some experience with fighting enemies on all different kind of levels. Thou here in the blueland she seemed powerless. All her past experiences didn't help her one bit. She decided to give it her best and found the mage path would fit her best, especially if she looked against what she already could, heal, save mana to a reservated pool, this all seemed logical.
She went training but my god, what was this a different land, horrors everywhere. People with red flags killing her for no good reason, mobs so strong she couldn't even ask the for aid from her old village. She found out she needed gears, where he old ways had surviced with your skills. In the blue land it turned out that was not sufficient. U needed skills but also gears, strong gears.

Here the start of a long quest emerged. Lady Tsunade had decided to grow her strongest here. So that when she would return to her village, she would be able to strengthen the village when her newly profound powers.

A journey, long and tough ahead of hers, what to do, where to go, whom to trust. In the Alker Harbor village she found her ways in the trading system and met Tigre. Tigre welcomed her to his house, a house with powerfull warriors. One of these warriors, called GlastonBury taught her how to hunt special mobs, mobs whom would carry strong gears with them. After the teacher went away she was on her own.

Her he was the big big big monster, she fought him with all she had, would she be able to kill him. Well she was not, she died. To her surprise she was sended back to the field by a godlike power she had never met nor remembers each time she has died. She stood up and again went into the fight, again she died. And again, And again.
How to slay these types of monsters, how to make this land safe again. At last she managed to kill this monster.

The way to the howling ravine was a bit safer again, for now ....
The horror/curse on the blueland she found out very quick. Till this moment she had believed that every monster she killed was dead. To her horror she found out the mobs returned, on a quick pace. What was this power behind it all? Why were the people of these lands so cursed. And how was it possible that all what died did not stay dead?!

In turned out to be the horror of the blueland.
On the way to the howling ravine she met another warrior whom attempted to kill the big monsters, soon they decided to go together for a longggggg ride. She grew stronger and decided it was time to step up to bigger monsters and stepped up. She step into the darkness called the Howling Ravine. Here together with her new partner she fought the big monsters every few hours and trained on the 'normal' monsters on the fields.

This all turned out to be a great way to train, but a horrorable realisation would come in soon.
She knew she needed gears, but what was this, someone else fighting the special monsters, and he wasn't planning on sharing. If she would come close he would kill her, over and over.

How to deal with this, and why would he kill her when he would have killed the special monster already. Conclusion this must be a hate crime no more, no less. She wanted to get safe from him, but how should she do that, and how should her partner become safe as well. She dragged him down is his grow speed. After a long time of conversations they decided to split up. They would train seperately. After doing her best, train tru the caverns and now on abyss knights she had to realise it just wasn't good enough. She needed more speed, more strength to be able to compete with this horrible special monster killer.

She made contact with the village and called for aid. Several came, sarada, sakura, ino, hinata, kushina, karin were there the 1st hours of the call. They gotten up to speed and trained there heart out to get near the possibility of powers Tsunade already had learned herself. Soon this was accomplished, well not totally Tsu always stayed ahead a bit, but they grew near. It wasn't about 1 month later that the competition found on the special monsters had been beaten, soon this persons would vanish to hardly ever been seen again.

The Tsunade found out here was a special time a day that a special thing was going on. It was a summoning of special monsters from all kind of levels and types in a several levels high tree. In this 'dungeon' people of red and blue would fight with each others, but also red would fight red and blue would fight blue. What was this madnesss??
As Tsunade grew stronger she started to dislike this happening more and more, why would persons kill each other? And especially why would they do this before the tower was cleared? After talking with many and enforcing her will on others, for the time being it was decided and followed that players would not kill each other anymore untill at least the tower was cleared.

Finally being more at peace with the tower she went to it another day. She was fighting a very big succubus when suddenly she gotten killed. How, whom, why, from where. It turned out her old competitor at special mobs had returned, and that he could become invisible. How to deal with someone u cannot see. She focused, concentrated, and started using her forgotten 7th sense. She felt him, hunted him and killed him. Over and over, till her competion promissed to not kill her anymore. Then Tsunade promissed to not kill him again.

What has been forgotten in our current archive is the information when she by this time had left the house of Tigre called Fusion and had created her own house. The Commoners was a house welcoming everyone, new, old, experienced, weak all were welcome and for a while the house was filled with chatter, laughter, cries but mostly warmed. It had felt like a family.

It was in this time Hinata felt like it was time for her to look outside the house. She found persons with her mindset, with her way of ethics and joined this house. This house was called AfterGlow, it hadn't taken long before the had convinced Tsunade it was a good thing to join up with this house and form an alliance. Which soon they did.

Later on the road to greatness she joined up with persons out of her old house Fusion, whom also had left the base. Diane and Harlequin. At the same time she met mirumo, nbleo, heiyue and silverqueenvie. Silverqueenvie and mirumo back then still were part of tsunade's oldest house. They all together teamed up and forced a power not to be considered lightly. For most they were the team u would bet your cash on. The team u would ask to help if u had troubles. The team whom would help others and be very strong at the same time.

But soon this all would come to an end. Moving between fields would almost become impossible, it took ages to come through the energetic borders. Later Tsunade had to find out that almost all her friends had gone missing, many had tried to go through the borders and became missing. Some, a real few, later hasnbeen seen again and found there way back to The Commoners. Thou most have never been seen again. Some persons had forever changed, Mirumo, Diane, Harlequin would never be the same again. Diane and Harlequin broke up, to never be together ever again.
Diane went to tsunade's ex-partner where she till today still is. If they are lovers is unknown, expected, but never confirmed.

Tsunade in her long life has dealt with many losses already and managed to get further, thou never forgetting all the
friends she has lost on it's way to it. Sometimes on her weak moments when nobody looked she would cry, crying of despair, crying of the losses.

By this time her old partner would have become almost godlike, he had obtained a ring, a ring so strong no one was capable of killing him anymore. Sadly this power grown to his head. He was everywhere slayed everything and left nothing behind for anyone. How had her beloved friend became her worst enemy. An enemy she felt love for but also hate. A person would would touch her heart with everything good or bad he did. It took months to get him mostly out of her system. But really gone he never was, always he stayed somewhere in her heart, possitivly, negativly. She still would miss the old person she had met long ago.

Since the time her ex-partner had obtained the ring-of-endurance she would train even harder. How else would she ever become able to competite again with the person she once had had so close. She outgrew him.

Tsunade has grown since this time. She by now is capable with her team to beat any monster in the blue land, and slowly gives the normal people of the blueland a bit safer feeling cause of it. But ............
Bad news has come, out of an old telling it is said, then when all monsters whom roam the land are being beaten, the curse would enstrengthen itself, with new fields and new monsters. Will this be true?

Will again Tsunade have to face problems bigger then her own? Will again there be monsters whom for now are unstoppable, uncontrollable, taking anyone with them without a fight. Or will they be capable to fight these monsters after all, we will find out later, we will see what the times bring. But for now i would find a fine, nice rock to hide under. Keep your foodsupply near u, get the candles, partners, beds nearby and enfortrace yourself. The time to rest and to look back to this time from out a peacefull chair not seemed yet to be reached.

Or take up the fight and help tsunade and all other heroes of the blueland fight this crazy world, this badass curse and help make the lands a bit safer doing it.

Sadly cannot change the 1st reply anymore. And with reading back i found many textual errors so here a better version:

It was a dark and stormy night, so I stayed in for the day, lit the fireplace, got myself a hot cocoa with some marshmallows, not the huge ones cause they won't fit the cup y'know the tiny mini ones that seem to evaporate when it hits anything that is hotter than lukewarm, the same kind that explodes out of the packaging no matter how carefully you open it. The End.

...Oh... You're still here? Spooky story you say? For Halloween? C'mon kid it ain't even Octob-oh wait yes it is, and it's the year 2018?! Why don't people tell me these things!!

Ugh, okay fine, you win, sit down and lemme read you this tale that is completely factual and no one can tell you otherwise.

It was a dark and stormy night, In this little old town call er... DOMO-town-land. There lived happy little citizens that were doing their usual routine of playing with pets and trying to sell their own kidneys to afford new costumes. But, during the Halloween season, this once happy little town, is plagued, by enchanted pumpkins!! Pumpkins that grow arms and legs and hats for some reason, walking very smugly as it tries to walk from one area.... TO THE NEXT!!.

I know, pretty scary stuff isn't it Billy? WELL YOU'RE WRONG.

Turns out these guys weren't very scary at all but they multiplied like rabbits, so a bounty was placed on their heads... And it was a really great bounty! All put up by a man who refers to himself as the "Traveling Vendor". Citizens were frothing from the mouth just thinking about the amount of gold they could get.

    "I'm gonna buy a house!"

"I'm gonna pay off my student loans!"

    "I'm gonna invest hover cars!"

    "I'm here!"

The whole city-town-village place of people (Oh wow it's 3AM here, send help) all marched outside, slaying every pumpkin they could find, coming back home and cashing in their bounty which gradually made the Traveling Vendor smirk widen. By the end of the day the citizens were filthy stinkin' rich and could buy anything they could of dreamed of!

"I can't believe it! I am finally a millionaire!!! I COULD BUY THE WORLD-

The gold the citizens have received starts to shimmer ever so faintly.

"Whoa this is strange, that Vendor better not of given be counterfeit gold or I would have to fight him with my arms and potentially a weapon but I don't want to get in trouble with the DOMO-POLICE again because my criminal track record already is on shaky territory, i'm talking impersonating gold spammers next to a GM and that isn't a very ethical thing to do becaus-"

    Suddenly, a flash of light.

"Oh no, I am now an enchanted pumpkin. I mean, pumpkin noises."

That's right Jason, the gold given by the Traveling Vendor turned all of the citizens into ENCHANTED PUMPKINS!. Why? Because that isn't the Traveling Vendor at all!

"Heheheheheheheeeeeee, foolish humans, kids, dinosaurs, foxes, floating people (Did I miss any?), blinded by their own greed! Now they will live their lives as my legion of brainless puppets as we take over every town in this world!"

It was none other than Sir Pumpkin Spice the Enchanted Headless Horseman of Salisbury next to the place that sells the really great sandwiches, like, real talk, if you ever go to a place that sells "artisan" anything, you're gonna pay a fair bit but damn, that's a nice sandwich, if I knew how to emoji on this I would give it the good ole circle hand.

With all the citizens transformed there is no one left to save them. The End.

    ...

What is it James Jamerson? You wanted a proper ending? I take offense to that! I just wrote my heart out in that story and you say that wasn't a proper ending? Fine! You want a proper ending? I'm gonna give you a proper ending? Am I stalling because I don't know how this ends yet? Of course not I know exactly how this ends! It starts with, er... I'm pretty sure a spoon is involved. OH WAIT, SHUT YOUR FACE, I GOT IT.

Off in the distance there was a hobbit home, home to hobbits, there lived a man who had a name that could only be translated through sign language, but people just call him Mythil, he lives with his unreleased Giraffe friend, Doctor Giraffy Girafferson the Giraffe.

One day the pair receive a DOMO-mail from the mail man who happens to be a postbox with arms and legs and eyes and why is this a thing? The mail reads...

"To anyone who receives this message, our village has been under attack by a mysterious foe and transformed us into pumpkins, I don't know how I wrote this since I am already one of them but if you read this, please help us!"

Mythil dramatically lifts his head after looking at the mail.

    "I can't read"

So Mythil goes about his day, walking to the nearby village of Monsters-Live-Here-Town and finds a group of monsters, they were celebrating Halloween and even got dressed up for the occasion! Trick or treating at each others houses and having a great time.

    When suddenly...

"Mmmmmmmm I smell new prey, pumpkin army take them out and make my armies rise!"

"Not so fast headless pumpkin! These monsters are just trying to enjoy the holiday season! Who are you to SUPERSPINTHROWSHIELDATTACK"

Mythil launches his shield at an incredible speed absolutely obliterating the Sir Pumpkin Spices Headless Horse.

    "SIR HORSEY MC HORSEHORSE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

"Can we wrap this up? It's 4AM here now and I wanna sleep at some point."

Sir Pumpkin Spice turns his head 180 degrees and utters the words.

"You will die a painful and slow death"

Sir Pumpkin Spice launches a laser beam from his eyes towards Mythil, Mythil pulls off a nearby door that happens to look like a fried egg for him to use as a shield but was not quick enough to block it.

"ARRRRRRRGHHHHHH, Doctor Giraffey Girafferson the Giraffe help me!"

And just like that, off camera, Doctor Giraffey Girafferson the Giraffe puts down his starbucks coffee and comes in for the assist.

"(I can't talk but you can read my thoughts, first i'm gonna high five myself and then i'm gonna cast my magic healing spell. After that I will use my strongest move on the big boss)"

Doctor Giraffey Girafferson the Giraffe holds up some children's playing cards and slams it onto a nearby table.

"(I will send this whole town and all its inhabitants to... THE BANANA REALM!)"

What is it Jeffrey? The story doesn't make sense? Don't worry, it will probably make sense by the end...

"It doesn't matter which realm you take me to, I will still destroy you all!"

"Hah, you didn't count on my trump card though, I brought all my friends to help slay you!"

"Er...but there is no one here."

    "Ex-act-ly, HIYAHHHHHHH"

The monsters of Monsters-Live-Here-Town look at each other and slowly brought up the courage to help Mythil take down the beast, not only to save the town, but to save the world.

And if you turn your head to the left Bobby, you will see on top of the fireplace, a painting that shows the epic clash that happened, the battle that marked the fate of the world as we know it.

    https://imgur.com/7RfdezS

Amazing right? It is a true story too, I saw it with my own eyes!

Default Dream of Mirror Online Adventures (DoMOA): The Mortuary

I think I want to write fanfiction about DoMO. This is my first time doing so, and it is also my submission for the Spooky Contest story. It is based on one of the early storyline missions in the game. I hope it makes people want to play DoMO and feel as immersed in the world as I do The names and characters in my story are not based on any players'.

Dream of Mirror Online Adventures (DoMOA): The Mortuary

“Zombies? Who even believes in those?” I raised an eyebrow at Lieutenant Hawk while I finished lacing my boots.

“It’s true, Commander Shion. There have been multiple sightings along the northwest road in Eversun North. Travelers from North Swan Lake Basin have had to take alternate routes through Eversun South to reach the city.”

“They’re that afraid? Don’t they have to cross a river to do so?” I brushed my armor off nonchalantly, but my twitching tail betrayed my curiosity.

Hawks stared at me solemnly. “Anyone would be afraid after hearing reports of two Shura men being eaten alive.”

    -----------------------------------------

“Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” I demanded harshly, balancing myself on my sword as it rode the wind. All members of the Eversun Guard received special blessings from the Flying Fairy, so Hawk and I would reach the mortuary in a matter of minutes.

“The investigation concluded early this morning, and a messenger told us the results only moments before I told you.”

I paused, imagining the grisly deaths of the two men. “But how did they come to the conclusion that it was zombies?” I slowed down as we approached the landing pad. The entire story was surreal. The dead rising to consume live flesh?

Hawk responded solemnly: “Bite marks on the few bone fragments we could find.”

I held my composure as I hopped off my sword and took it in my hand. Without a word, I burst into a full run ahead of Hawk. I ignored his cries to slow down and stay together as I neared the narrow path that led to the graves. A dense thicket soon surrounded me, and there was a sudden drop of temperature after I passed a certain point.

Hawk shivered when he caught up to me. Despite being a Sylph, he was still winded after gliding at such a fast speed. I never understood the magic behind their levitating, but it seemed as though travelling for extreme distances or at extreme speeds drained their mana. I guess even the most gifted Sylphs had difficulty keeping space with a healthy Shura.

I paused and sniffed the air. Hawk tried to ask me what I smelled, but I put one claw to my lips to signal silence. There was the typical smell of rot and decay, but there was something else. As soon as I recognized it, I quickly got on all fours and dug the earth with my claws. After only few swipes, the lines of an invocation circle were revealed.

I stood up quickly and told Hawk to get back up.

“What’s going on? I can’t leave you here alone.” His look of fear only mirrored my own.

“Dark magic was used here. I recognize the technique used when creating this circle.” I grabbed a handful of earth and opened my palms in front of him. “Whose aura is this?”

Hawk held both of his hands over my own and they glowed brightly as he used his Aura Recognition ability. The light disappeared when he opened his mouth and gasped, “Your old master, Lunestra!”

He waved his hands in front of him and the top level of soil around us flew away. The entire invocation circle was revealed, and in the center was Lunestra’s seal: two downward facing crescents beneath an upward facing one. It resembled two eyes. It was the same crest that I had tattooed on the back of my neck when I became her apprentice ten years ago.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

I had known since I was a little girl that I wanted to be a blademaster in the Eversun City Guard. I became very familiar with them after my numerous arrests. My father had abandoned my mother and me, and she passed away soon after that. I survived as a petty thief who swiped whatever she could from local merchants and passers-by.

Despite those rough beginnings, I loved Eversun City. Even as I got caught up in street fights and used a wooden sword to defend myself most nights, I had my familiar spots that I would go to and find comfort. One of them was well. That was where Lunestra approached me one night.

I was already half-asleep with my sword clutched in my hands, a habit formed by how often I had to wake to defend myself from other thieves. That night was the first time someone was able to grad my sword from me before I was able to react. I opened my eyes to see a human woman standing before me.

“What are you doing?” I demanded, lunging at the sword instinctively.

She dodged me effortlessly, not once diverting her gaze from the sword. I blinked several times, my brain still unable to comprehend how quickly she had moved. After a long pause, she looked up at me and asked. “Did you make this yourself?”
Her eyes were light gray, and they seemed to glow even though I knew that they were simply reflecting the moonlight. I thought that they were strange eyes for a human. I nodded quietly before asking, “Who are you?”

She smiled, and it was somehow simultaneously warm and chilling.
    “I’m your teacher.”

    ----------------------------------------

That was my first encounter with Lunestra, legendary blademaster and, although no one knew it at the time, necromancer. She took me under her wing and was like a mother to me.

Now that I stood in front of the mortuary gate, I could sense her everywhere. Both her smell and aura permeated the air.

“Lunestra, I know you’re here,” I called out into the seemingly lifeless surroundings. I felt the tattoo on the back of my neck grow warm before I felt a hand on my shoulder.

“Well, it’s nice to see you again, dear.” I turned around swiftly, but I there was no one to be seen.

“Show yourself!” I shouted, my heart racing. Energy crackled in the air and made my fur stand on end. I showed my fangs and tensed my muscles, preparing for an attack.

“As you wish.” Lunestra’s voice seem to come from everywhere and nowhere as she manifested herself before me.

I screamed as I saw what had become of her. Her skin was pale and rotten, and part of her nose and her entire left eye was missing. She smelled of rot and I could see maggots squirming her nostrils and eye socket. “What are you? What have you become?”

“Immortal.” And she showed a smile of gray, rotten and missing teeth. “This is what I worked for for so long.”

“No,” I shook my head. “You, you’ve become…”

“Death Incarnate, Zombie Queen, Necromancer of Legend… but I guess the common people know me as the Leech Lich, right?”

“That’s impossible. The Leech Lich isn’t real. It’s just an old wives’ tale that we tell to scare children into behaving.”

“I’m real, and you share my power, my precious student.”

I stepped backwards from her, disgusted. “I’d never want the power of death. I’ll never be like you.”
Lunestra tilted her head backwards and laughed hysterically. She continued for several moments that felt like an eternity. I stared at her, confused. “Do you think this is a joke?” I asked angrily.

She finally stopped and looked at me, her remaining eye gazing at me with pity. I scowled back at her. “Darling,” she began, “You really don’t understand what happened that night we first met, do you?”

I felt my shoulders tense as my breath quickened. “Of course. I started believing in you, following you. You became a mother to me. But now… you’re just a corpse.”

She took a step towards me. “And so were you.”

I placed my hand on my sword, preparing myself. She was obviously spewing lies to distract me from her upcoming attack. I stared at her silently, waiting for her to continue.

“You finally succomed to starvation and cold. You were little more than a pile of bones and skin when I found you, but I sensed it. Your spirit still lingered nearby, so I resurrected you using your sword. It was your most beloved possession, and you’d held it as you died. It was overflowing with your energy, so it was easy to bring you back.”

I stepped backwards, confused as she continued. “It’s ironic really. They sent the living dead here to slay zombies.” She cackled once more. “How’s the Resurrection Seal doing? It warmed when you came near me right?”
“Resurrection Seal? That’s just my apprentice tattoo. You gave it to me when I turned eighteen and became your successor.” My words came out as barely a whisper. I felt like I could hardly breathe. I knew in my heart that everything she said was the truth, and it strangled me.

“Once someone is resurrected, they can’t generate their own life force anymore. They have to get it from others. The Resurrection Seal makes it easier for me to give you energy from afar.”

Tears welled in my eyes, “W-what have you done? Whose energy is flowing through me?”

Lunestra slid her sword from its sheath just slightly. “Ever since I adopted you, I’ve channeled energy from those I’ve slain into you. Remember the potions and draughts that I used to give you when you were younger? They tasted… metallic, didn’t they?”

I doubled over, nauseated. I covered my mouth with both hands, trying to maintain my composure.

“But I didn’t have to do that anymore once I created the Resurrection Seal. You’re special, Shion. Your spirit called to me that night. You were nothing but a scrawny, dead kitten; but I saw through that. I saw your destiny clearly. You were meant to rule this world. We were meant to rule together instead of those bumbling Mirror Kings or Collins.”

“Shion! Shion!” I heard a voice calling for me in the distance. It was Hawk, and I could hear that there were other guards with him. He had followed my orders and brought back up.

Lunestra held one hand out to me. I could see the bone and tendons exposed in several of her fingers. “You’ve done well this far. All on your own, you rose to the rank of commander. But you know in your heart that’s not enough. You yearn for more. You thirst for blood and power.”

I stood up straight and stared at her. I’m not sure if it was a glamour spell or my own imagination, but Lunestra appeared just as she had in my youth: beautiful, with both eyes mirroring the moonlight. The sun had set during our encounter, and I could see the it reflecting off of her straight, dark brown locks as well. She smiled, her lips painted in her favorite rouge.

“Can you bring back my mother too?” I asked her, choking up on my tears. I sounded like the small wounded child I was when she’d first found me.

    “I can’t, but we can… together.”

I nodded and reached for her hand.

“Shion! What are you doing?” I turned slightly and could see Hawk approaching me quickly. He was moving faster than I’d ever seen him move before, but it was too late. I felt the cold icy grip of Leech Lich’s hand around mine, and I smiled. I felt the resurrection seal warm and the smell of rot permeated the air.

I’d embraced my destiny, and Hawk and brought my first meal.
What a feast it would be…

    Default Shopping For Mercy

Auburn's breath became farther apart, and deeper with each one. Her lungs felt like they were chained and only the strong could break their lock. The more she tried to fight it, the more they would tighten. Her fist clenched as if she was grasping to a helicopters skid and she was 1,000 ft from the ground. Her knees met her chest like the embrace of a bride and groom. She closed her eyes and listened closely as the footsteps grew rapid and the screams increased their volume.

People trampled over others as the sirens rang. The air filled with smoke and the scent of iron from blood.

She remembered the first moment it happened. One second her sister and her were having a lovely time together and the next various men infiltrated the mall with AR-15's and various weaponry, taking her sisters life in a split second. People being held hostage in various shop separated from family members, watching loved ones bleed out on the ground. They can't hold them or comfort them in their final hours as all they can do is see the clouded vision on their eyes from their tears as unknown murderous extremists hold a cold gun to their temples.

"Get up" a voice said to her. She couldn't move an inch, her body became stone and her soul lifeless. She was getting dragged by one of the extremists. "Take her to the car, and bring the other family with her"

    The memory faded black

When her eyes opened she was in a therapists office. The horrid scents erased and the room filled with a lovely lilac and lily scented aroma. The sounds were quiet. When she looked up a woman was sitting there with her legs crossed and a cup on tea in her hands.

"We made good progress today, ill see you next week okay?" The woman handed her an appointment card and Auburn slipped out the door without saying a word.

Auburn crossed the street that divided the office building and the parking lot. She heard wheels screeching and then, it was over.

    *machine beeping*

....."Not again" she thought to herself...
