is any1 else able to use the intermediate cooking book? i have 200/200 mastery but still cant use it.

Did you max Tasting and Fire Handling as well?
If so then report it as a bug.

Yes it's pretty hard to get high cooking level, it takes a ridiculously long amount of time and I don't think the stats those end game food provide are anywhere near good at all considering the time and effort needed.

Edit: It's the tasting that takes a ridiculously long amount of time, you can't eat everything at once

if they are going to make it hard to level up the cooking they might as well make the stats bloody good.
