What is releveling?
Want to get lvl 71-75? Have to relevel, because Domo says you need to. You do become a lot more powerful. You could stay 70 forever but who wants that? Exp requirements for lvl 71-75 is a lot higher though, so keep that in mind. You don't have to re-unlock your jobs 61-70 so if you've already unlocked, which you should have if you're lvl 70, so you'll be fine.
Who has releveled?
Many people. My BM is lvl 72 now.
Can I ask them how they did it?
Nah, they're scared of competition. Just know that even rebirthed people can suck at the game. Please ask good players what gear to get and what skills to get before you relevel. Don't be that guy who is a lvl 75 hunter yet still has terribad dps.
What should I rebirth?
DPS: Hunter, BM
Support: Doc, Muse
Others? Wiz/Sorc maybe?
Why Relevel?
Re-leveling gives you an extra stat point every 5 levels, for a maximum of 75 extra stats points by level 75. Stat points are very strong, giving you better heals (wisdom), better dmg (power/dex), etc. You can also be the guy/girls in raids who gets aggro and dies more than the other dpses. And you can show off how much dmg you actually do, or be exposed for the terribad dps you are when you do 2k at Tigerman.
Stats to consider:
Dex: hunters always need macc but when is it enough dex? Answer: You can never have enough dex.
Power- BMs need alot of this, but maybe some agi to reduce cd on AoA?
Wisdom: More wisdom means more healing power, mp regen, and mdef. And, it adds matk for those who pvp or like Mdps. There is no such thing as too much Wisdom unless you don't get 102 agi, which you always need as a support.
Phys: More Phys is always better, higher HP pool and hp regen. Please don't be one of those raid tanks with 80 dura, it hurts me.
What do I need to re-level?
Reincarnation stone plus 250k gold. Talk to the reincarnation NPC in the Eversun City Dojo for a free reincarnation stone, but it's only for the first rebirth. Must be capped on current job (lvl 70, if you never rebirthed on that job before). You can become beast of some kind if you die on a rebirthed job, meaning you stay alive. It can occur only once every 24 hours. It's a neat trick but don't expect it to save you.
Remember all of your skills are reset when you re-level, and you have to adjust the skills from your subs to the appropriate level i.e. you can't use inner magic until level 33 again if you're rebirthing Doc.
What is a reincarnation stone?
Need a Dim reincarnation stone + 200 dreamstone essence (2k dreamstones). Dim reincarnation stone + 200 essence= 1 Reincarnation stone.
Ask yours truly, GheyMang, ingame if you need ds essence crafted. Or, you can try asking in town or getting your own (need to get it from Tigerman, spawning it in Fireworks map). Don't buy via IM since they're overpriced, and don't buy from players unless they give you a great deal (1.2mil ish for a Dim is probably okay). Farming daily mission scrolls is the best way, get tier 2 trader girl for 100 scroll Dim stones!
How do I prepare to re-level?
Gold and mod the gear you're using, preferably lvl 50 for dden/TT/SB, clothing if aspd, LA if SS, get patk mods on your boots and wristguard and max the patk stat if you can. Pdef/HP is useful on aspd or SS, but mp rec is vital on a SS. Try to get these stats on uncommon or rare unless you want to suffer. Mod them to 11% at least, 20% if you have the funds. The more effort and money you spend on your gear, the smoother the releveling process will be. Hoard many SB keys, SYC, badges, team badges, gold rez plates, scapes, MP pots, and w/e else you think will make leveling go more efficiently.
If you're support, DG armor (Robes/Dancer Wear/Heavy Armor) + onyxes suffice.
Get earth elemental weapons, mgold/pgold with corresponding onyxes. Carrots, accuracy saddles, aspd pills, HLA pills, bronze power stones, anything to boost your attack power to make this easier. The best type of armor for rebirthing jobs lvls 10-48/50 is Light Armor unless you got some DG robes, since DG robes increase the damage from your fencer aoes, which benefit most from Magic Attack.
Preparing fencer swords lvls 10, 20, 30 and 40 are nice. Can mgold a lvl 43 mars sword and downgrade it to lvl 40 if you're feeling fancy, like me. Getting a lvl 30 LA set and onyxing it shouldn't cost that much and makes releveling through fugis a bit easier. Also, your plvler might need to wear HA if they are too squishy.
What Subs do I need to re-level with?
Fencer: Lvl 50+, Lvl 60+ Preferably so you can afford to get all 5 AoEs to lvl 10, get equip sword, and add points to sword masteries.
Doc: Lvl 60+ for frog forcefield, prolong life, yang frog, mega magic boost, first aid, regeneration lvl 11, greater healing. Pretty essential for re-leveling.
Merc: Lvl 60+. Mock monsters, taunt, forms if you have the time to do it. Higher mock means less chance of mobs hitting the aoer you are plvling. Failure to mock isn't funny unless it happens to certain people. Notable people: Joey270.
Moose: Lvl 70, maxed short songs, fuse, long songs. Don't want your plvlee to run out of MP and not be able to killing mobs anymore. Long songs are nice but remember to cast them only after you cast mock. A long song is never worth your plvlee dying and having to use a scape or res plate.
Wizard: Earth spirit can be helpful for some extra defense against FNS/Turtles, especially if your dps wants to do FNS at lvl 46 or is a squishy aspd like me. If you're baller and have a mgold wand, using wiz aoes wouldn't be too bad but we all know fencer is the way to go.
What if I am too cheap/poor/lazy/stubborn to prepare myself, can I still rebirth?
Yes! Of course you can. But your lack of gear will become obvious in higher level content such as raids, Fireworks Map, high level instances, and others. Plus, it'll make rebirthing more tedious and slow than it needs to be. And, you'll annoy your leveling partner! No one wants to level with someone who dies a lot and ruins the flow of leveling.
People will wonder why you're lvl 75 yet your attack/healing power still sucks. Proper gear will make you less squishy, have higher accuracy, better mp recovery, better defense, better heals, better fuse, better everything. Rebirthing will not compensate for your lack of proper gear, get it done or don't do it. But hey, you can spend all that effort just to suck!
What if i'm mdps?
Dg and onyxed robes, modded matk/mp recovery/hp stat, mgold wand, and suffer.
What's the most efficient way to relevel?
Get a waifu/leveling partner/escort/slave/paid servant and plvl her rebirthed doc to 48/50, then get her to plvl your bm/hunter/wiz to 48/50, then duo back to 71, rinse and repeat. Make sure that the person being plvled has good aoes, fencer aoes being the best, wizard ones following. It's probably best to sub fencer AoEs and make the other sub something that buffs damage, like Witch Doctor blood boil and WE or burning rage from BM.
Make sure the person aoeing is always healed/buffed/fused to ensure he/she can always keep aoeing. The power leveler should be pulling as many mobs as he/she can handle.
You can also pay people to plvl you.
What if i'm not a man?
Find a good husband/leveling partner whose willing to rebirth with you. Use cutesy emotes like :3 and <3. Posting your picture (an appealing one if you're pretty, a fake one if you're not) might also improve your chances.
What if no one likes me?
Everyone is likable, just find someone who thinks you are. Or, trick them into believing it.
Where should I level?
Spooky bottom (SB) is the best place to level, especially higher base exp (2x) for mobs there. Exceptions are between lvls 40-48/50 since War wolves suck in SB and so do dark noisy snakes, Grizzly bears suck too. Keys aren't cheap but there are also non-SB choices too.
lvls 10-15: Well- Golden Globs. You can solo the grape/golden glob area near Well entrance, even naked.
Lvls 16-22: Caskmasters (SB) (or non-SB, in Inn basement), Martial artist job, non-elemental
Lvls 23-28: Crimson Globs (SB) (or non-SB, Neptune's Temple)
Lvls 29-33: Man eating zombies (SB, dancer job) (or Grizzly Garrison, 30-38, Bandit Thugs/Chefs, do spam quest if you so choose),
Lvls 34-48: Fugitives (SB) (or Grizzly Garrison, 30-38), Commoners, non-elemental. Fugis are surprisingly good exp for a long time. This is nice since sometimes you have time left on your SB key and don't want to waste it. If you really want to escape to foggy, leaving SB fugis at lvl 45 is best.
Lvls 41-48/50: Foggy forest- hedgehogs, lvl 46 fencers, non-elemental. Try not to be a jerk and take VIP/pond away from AoE teams because you're greedy. I get you were there first but cut the noobs/low levels some slack. You might need HA here as the plvler unless you can detox yourself.
Lvls 50-60: Dragon's Den/SB Flying noisy snakes- Wizard job, water element
Lvls 60-65: Northern Turtle Tower- Tortoises (70 Commoners), SB or non-SB, water element. Having an Aoe such as dragon guard, double edged sword, or dark deluge is helpful here since songs will aggro multiple tortoises at once. Aoeing tortoises might be better exp than single targeting but I don't know much about that.
Lvls 66-70: Northern Turtle Tower- Northern Turtle Legionaries (NTLs, 74 Hunters), SB or non-SB, water element
Lvls 71-75: Northern Turtle Tower- NTLs/Crystal shielded legionaries (76 BM turtles)?? SB or Non-SB, water element- maybe, I heard BM turtles are not really good exp compared with NTLs even closer to lvl 75.
Leveling at the above areas, how long does it take to re-level?
This is based off my gear/build/subs. Your experience will be different.
With my setup:
Stat Build: Pure power for BM, Wisdom for Doc until lvl 40, then get 102 agi before going back to Wis. This is to avoid the cost of having to restat when you hit dden level and beyond. Going pure wisdom on a magic job like Doc will likely mean you do more AoE damage but then without agi, you can't really support properly without restatting back to 102 agi/rest wisdom build.
Lvls 10-47: Maxed fencer aoes with lvl 4 mastery and equip sword. Light Armor. Lvl 70 WD (martial hex, WE, blood boil) and Doc subs (inner magic, regen 11 and first aid), lvl 70 shaman subs (for spring cleaning before you can use inner magic at lvl 23). I use blue statted lvl 10/20/30 swords.
Lvl 48+:ASPD w/lvl 10 AoA + using Aim lvl 6, 56% patk mods, Lvl 50 dw/clothing mixed DG + Onyxed, Pgold Bone crusher with 90 earth + clothing break + pvp lightning blade title + aspd pill + bm necklace + ring of attack + pure power stat build.
Assumptions: 100% Badge, Spooky Bottom exp (2x mob exp), 100% Server exp boost. Duo exp (1 DPS that is well-geared, 1 Support. both around the same level). This means both you and your partner would be around the same level, the DPS will naturally get more exp since he/she is actually attacking the mobs. Solo exp would makes you level dramatically quicker so that's up to you whether you want to do that.
Timing:
Lvls 10-48: 10-15 in Well, 15-48 in SB Casks-->Globs--->Man eating zombies--->Fugitives. Approx 3 hrs, assuming you are AoEing properly with fencer sword and being plvled by your partner.
Lvls 48-64: FNS--->Tortoises at lvl 60-64. Approx 3 hrs. Duo exp, changing weapons when appropriate.
Lvls 65-71: NTLs. Approx 4.5 hrs, exp doesn't noticeably improve until you hit lvl 69 ish. The exp doubles every lvl beyond 70, so re-leveling from 70-71 is a lot shorter than lvl 71-72.
Speculation: Once you hit lvl 71, depending on your dps, BM turtles might be better exp. On relevels 73+, starting at BM turtles at lvl 70 might even be more efficient.
Without server exp boost:
Timing was pretty much the game lvls 10-47. From 48-64, 3 hrs in SB. Although I did use and have a mgold mars sword lvl 43 downgraded to lvl 40 this time around for Fugis.
Difference was more substantial lvls 64+:
Lvls 64-72: Likely around 10 hours in SB NTLs, shave time off if you pill/if you are a good SS.
Lvls 64.3-67.8: 3 hrs
Lvls 67.8-70.3: 3 hrs
Lvls 70.3-72: The exp requirement to level up 71-72, 72-73 incrementally increases by ~400mil each level. Meaning, 70-71 requires 400mil, 71-72 takes 800mil, 72-73 takes 1.2 billion, etc.
Took about 4 hrs: 2.5? hrs SB 70.3- 71.5. Another 1.5? hours approx 71.5-72. Did use bronze power stone (BPS) the entire time, added a scrapper scroll I twice and a magical carrot once on top of the BPS.
Your mileage may vary if you get a bad spot, have disconnects or lag, or have to afk for various reasons. The bridge area is the best in SB because the NTLs are packed closely together and have relative quick re-spawn times. The second best is probably the House area but the NTLs are more spread out so exp is a bit slower there.
Other considerations:
Mistakes: Don't relevel both your support job and your dps job at the same time, otherwise you'll be useless and be unable to participate in raids and instances, so keep that in mind. If you re-level with a partner/waifu/booty call, remember that it is better that the DPS relevels first, so that the support is still lvl 70+ and can plvl you a lot easier. Then, the support can rebirth while the DPS, who hopefully has the right subs, can plvl the support to DDen/FNS level.
I made my support rebirth her doc first, that was a big mistake since plvling me at lvl 50, with lvl 50 skills/buffs made things a lot harder than it had to be.
Multi-tasking: Remember to constantly adjust the level of your skills as you level, since you will be leveling much faster than if you leveled in an AoE party. Change your equipment as you level up too, so you aren't wearing lvl 10 armor when you're lvl 40, unless you're feelin' frisky. Try to find the balance between AoE level and mp consumption, tis a matter of experience.
Your guide sucks, how do I give my pro input?!
Can leave a reply or msg me in game.
