Seems to work have not gone to war yet, but seems normal fps.

I can´t start the game when I add that d3d9.dll (Just luncher started)
Am I doing something wrong?

I just copied the quote. What you do: copy JUST the d3d9.dll to you main directory of ace, where the aceonline.atm and aceonline.exe files are located in something like C:\program files\subagames\aceonline.

Issue with doing that is microsoft wont let you if you've had the anniversary update for more then ten days. I had been taking a break from ACE to play the new WoW expansion and when I came back those ten days had passed, so a fix like this is wonderful news for those of us unable to undo the update.

Yes. I believe the only option at this moment is to reinstall w10
Personaly I am waiting for some fix or something. Luckily I got w10 only on my new laptop and other two computers got XPs running

I just now realize that the problem was most likely win10 after update trying to run this old game in dx10 or dx12. D3D stands for Direct 3D. IJS somehow the file fixed it and forces D9 I'm guessing.

I have confirmed that this fix works. I found a more simple download link; http://www.dlldownloader.com/d3d9-dll/

I chose version 10.0.10240.16412 - 32 Bit (x86)

All I did was download it, and drag it into my ace directory, so it looks like C:\Suba Games\ACEonline\d3d9.dll

Well I have downloaded 64 bit version of that d3d9. Managed to startup the game. Did not fix anything :| I give up
